I have to defer to the resident Kao Soi expert before awarding a grade above a Starter, but this was the best Kao Soi I’ve ever had. That’s not saying much, but at some point food is food. And I’ve had plenty of foods in my day. So I know food. And this was good food. I’ll be back to this place for more. It’s on the Upper East side so it’s not exactly a tourist hot spot for you non New Yorkers, but you can hop off the JFK at 96th if you’re coming from LaGuardia and pop in. Hand pulled noodles, good crispy noodles on top, some slightly acidic veggies for some balance. Also very affordable for NYC.
