The Barbacoa Grilled Cheese at Barrio Barista was a really unique dish. The barbacoa was tender and tasteful, and the avocado added freshness as well. Throw that simple concoction between two pieces of Texas Toast, add cheese, and you get a meat-lover's grilled cheese with a Texas twist. Make it a Westside Special to add Tomato Basil Soup on the side. The only thing is, there is a long wait to order and for your food to arrive, so grab a Horchata Latte or one of their other specialty drinks while you wait.
