The Halal Guys has always been my NYC late nigh go to. The LA locations beef has the same great Mediterranean inspired flavor. The pita bread wrapping is light and fluffy but thick enough to soak up all the goodness. The tomato and lettuce is almost a last minute thought, just thrown on to add a little roughage. The best part of the sandwich for me is the white sauce, basically sweetened mayo, ask for an extra packet!
