Mowgli Street Food, opened in 2014, is based on the recent global obsession of trying to replicate street food inside a full-service restaurant. Mowgli does not disappoint. The workman's thali offers three curry dishes (chicken, lamb, and lentil) with rice that constitue a typical mid-day meal for an office worker in the metropolis of Mumbai. The flavors are full of zest and bright in appearance which is one reason Mowgli was packed with Liverpudlians on a recent Thursday night. While the spice level may have been turned down a notch to satisfy the British palate, it was an All-Star experience for this curry connoisseur.
