Coming off a four day stretch where I've mostly subsisted off fruits and nuts during Hurricane Harvey, I went to Hugo's for a turnaround lunch. Turnaround it was. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup for the first time, and I'll order it every time I go back. Hands down the best Mexican soup I've ever had. (Cuchara in Houston also has a good soup, maybe RT level) This one has a different consistency and spice profile from normal chicken tortilla soup. Plus they don't skimp on the chicken.
