Awesome little ice cream shop located in vicinity to Curry’s college. They offer sundaes, milkshakes, cones, soda floats, soft serve, and boats (my personal fav). There are four types of boats: Brownie, Oreo, Reese’s, and Banana (shoutout CP3, LBJ, Melo, D. Wade). The brownie boat is the star here and it comes with three brownies warmed up and laid as the base. Then you can pick three flavors for your triple scoop. My three power picks are: Peanut Butter Cup (obligatory), Cookie Dough, and Cookie Monster which coincidentally all three of these flavors share tubs right next to one another on the far right hand side of the display case. That’s what I call trifecta trip scoop action. Carolina Cones knows what they’re doing. The ice cream is thumbs up good here. This entire boat load only costs $7.50. Granted it is down the street from a college campus. I’ll rock the boat all day. Top off the scoops with some whip cream, chocolate fudge, and cherries and you got yourself a perfect NC summer time treat. This must be enjoyed as you’re walking out the doors due to the heated up gooey brownies that’ll cause the scoops to turn into shakes. All aboard the brownie boat at Carolina Cones.
