Holy cow. As of date, this is the best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve had yet. Now my sample size is rather small on cheesesteaks nor have I been to Philadelphia, but that will not take away from how Big Time this sandwich was. Everything blended so beautifully in every bite, from the bun, to the melted white American cheese, to the shredded beef slices, and the full boat of toppings. The foot long cheesesteak special sub was generously priced @ $10.79. I’d pay double for this, that’s how good it was. Philly cheese has done a slow grow on me over the past couple years and I always remember overlooking this bite. My dad was the big Philly cheesesteak guy and would always order it if it was offered. Totally impromptu to try this at Elizabeth’s Pizza and caught me way off guard. Was blown away at how good this thing was. Ordered a cheese pizza as well to give it a whirl - best game time decision made in a long time. Pizza is super fire here. The tomato sauce was incredible. The owner was really cool and as I walked out, I told him I’ll let him know how I’d like the food. Next thing you know, I ran into him making a delivery 15 minutes later. All things in divine order. I was able to let him know it was by far the best Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich I’ve had.
