09/26/19 As a sushi lover the idea of vegan sushi did not intrigue me. I was simply amazed after trying the dishes at Shizen. The proud peacock specialty roll reminded me of rainbow rolls I've had at sushi restaurants. The vibrant colors and details such as the seaweed pearls that captured the look and feel of caviar. The roll is round out with cucumber, avocado, shiitake mushroom, eggplant, tofu, pickled mango and roasted peppers. Stop in and try this dish if you are ever in the neighborhood!
