Marianne's has been selling ice cream in the Santa Cruz area since 1947. I was in the neighboring town of Capitola over Memorial Day weekend and came across Beach Break by Marianne's which is downtown Capitola and less than a block from the Ocean. This little downtown area one of the most quaint little beach towns you will visit. On top of that, the Salty Bear ice cream they sell at Marianne's is unique and now one of my favorite flavors ever! Salted Carmel and Bittersweet Chocolate coming together to create an amazing experience. If you love ice cream and are visiting the Santa Cruz area, you will not be disappointed with Salty Bear and Marianne's.
