03/31/19 Supper has become a dinner staple any time my wife and I visit NYC. We love their pastas, but before any meal here, their rendition of bruschetta is an absolute must. “Salsa Cruda Crostini” is simple, yet fabulous: the only visible ingredients are grilled bread, vine ripe tomatoes, and some fresh basil. However, there is plenty of garlic involved in this big time bite. It all comes together perfectly and Supper somehow continually seems to find the juiciest tomatoes on the planet. This is one of those dishes where it actually makes sense that tomatoes are fruit, since these things are bursting with juice! A great start to a meal at a big time restaurant. If you ever find yourself at Supper, give these a try!
