These Tamales are incredible! Montiel's Cocina is a food catering service that rents a spot at Lake Oswego's Saturday's Market. This outdoor market in Lake Oswego one of the best I have ever known. Anytime you are in Lake Oswego on a Saturday, this is the place to be for breakfast or lunch. The tamales come filled with various options (chicken, beef, vegetables, spinach, cheese, etc.). The two best parts of the tamale are the super moist and tasty corn meal masa and the green sauce they use to top the tamale. Choose whatever filling you like best and the masa and green sauce will take you home. Today I went with the vegetable tamale which was filled with grilled beans, carrots, and zucchini. When I finished I was desperately wanting to run it back for more. These tamales are on another level!
