Rotisserie Chicken at Naplavka Farmer’s Market in Prague, Czech Republic. I love a good rotisserie chicken, and if you’ve devoured enough of them, you know that not all rotisserie chickens are created equal. The seasoning, the crispness of the skin, and the moistness of the chicken all factor into how Bigtime a piece of rotisserie chicken is for me. This one was spectacular, so much so that I went and got another half chicken immediately after eating my first one. The skin was perfectly crispy, but not so crisp that it was brittle. The herbs and spices had tremendous flavor and the inside was moist and tender and could easily be carved into and eaten without a knife. I’d provide more details on the seasoning, but the vendor didn’t speak a lick of English (although he did nod earnestly and was delighted when I returned). Naplavka Farmer’s Market is open on Saturday’s and features a wide variety of local vendors with food, produce, and crafts. There’s only one rotisserie chicken booth in the market, so it’s easy to find. A must eat dish if you are ever in Prague!
