Raw Oysters at The Optimist in Atlanta, GA. Love the oysters here, as they always have a large assortment from different parts of the country. Whatever you fancy for oysters, they will have - east coast, west coast, big, small, sweet, briny, salty, fruity, buttery, smooth, creamy, etc. I'd love to say I'm an oyster expert and can spot an east coast oyster from a west coast oyster as well as taste the difference between all the types, but I'm a simpleton and love them all and go primarily for freshness and quantity. Fifty is my record at this joint, as @mattmckayjr will attest (in addition to a fish entree, crudo appetizer, and their terrific gumbo).
